to paint or not to paint

Well im torn between painting
the frame /chassis/links/coils/steering links all black
or clear coating it so the aluminum frame and brass links can be seen???
or a combo of the 2
if anyone cares to respond thanx!! i was gonna do black but in the pics looks neat showin the aluminum frame so i dunno???? whatcha think???
