Those are some very nice cars! I love the green Porshe the best. It's nice to see some realistic looking onroad cars for a change!

Yes, that first Porsche could pass for the real thing if the angle is done right!

Aha! Thanks Spoon. I knew I'd seen that somewhere! I'm surprised you don't have a Mini Cooper or an Alfa Romeo Guila Sprint- They seem pretty much in line with your collection. I have a Cooper I'll post a bit later, and the Alfa may be on the list-Very similar to the Alpine, in that they're quite detailed. One day I'd like to stumble across a Fiat Abarth too: Oh well, wish in one hand and sh*t in the other & see which one fills up first, aye? Take care of those babies and remember me in your will! Chris I have to be selective with what I have in my collection. I just don't have the room to display it. I would love to pick up a Mini Monte Carlo, VW Bug and the Alfa Romeo.

that 956 looks familiar. i used to work at a shop that did vintage-racing pit work for a chap who ran a 962 with Rothmans livery. i still miss his GT40 MkII

you occasionally run across some of these Tamiyas on Ebay.... I did see a recent NIB 935 however its a static kit of the same size(still made by Tamiya tho), presumably the body itself is the same?

obviously as many of these are the earliest examples of Tamiya RC cars the chances of even finding one are slim so minters go for a fortune.... I will know sho has gone crazy if he sells all of these for some magic beans....

Jack sold the cow, why not sell the mint/vintage Tamiya R/C's!

BTW, I have a whole bag of magic beans I'll trade ya!

In the imortal words of Pee Wee Hermam, " Their not for sale". Maybe some day I will lose interest but right now it's fun to collect all those cars I use to dream about in the Tamiya Catalogues.
