View Full Version : Can All Tamiya 1/35 Tracked Vehicles Be Converted

[FONT=Arial][FONT=Arial]I plan on getting the entire collection of these static tracked kits. I need to know can they all be made into r/cs. I know the Tigers can. What about the rest? These are far better than the ones offerred in 1/16. I wish Tamiya would make the Bradleys in 1/16.

I'm not sure, you'd really have to see how the drive system is set up.

Spoon37, the problem is they're just too common. All Tamiya wants to put out is the Tigers, Pershings, and Shermans. Yet they have these beautiful M@ and M! Bradleys they won't scale up to 1:16 and make them r/c. I love Bradleys. It's what made me wanna join the army. Not to mention they won't scale up the Israeli tank, nor the Abrams

Jugg2Driver, yes I actually like converting static kits into rc! But I admit, if the Bradleys were available as 1:16 r/c, I would have owned both years ago. I love the original Tiger and Leopard, but give me abreak. It's like showing up to a race track with an E-Maxx, everyone has got one. Note, noone in Miami has a tank......Not that I've seen.....

My Cheiftan Mk5 Tank has markings and a shapes in the hull for 2 AA batteries. I always wanted to make it into an RC version using the Educational Construction series parts, but to tell the truth, I never got round to it. I reckon the new Tamiya 1/35 French Main Battle tank - the Leclerc - would look cracking when its moving around!



Hope to see more of this project, and may get round to one of my own when I finish my other projects (or at least some!)
