View Full Version : Bond Styrene to Resin ?

HELP!
What do I need to use to bond Styrene to resin? Im trying to attach my Repro resin Hilux grill to my Tamiya hardbody. First time ive had to bond the 2 together and dont want ruin it!

I just did the same thing, tried epoxy, and several other styrene glues with no luck. I am testing good old Loctite super glue, seems to be holding at the moment. The Repro stuff is hard to work with, very brittle too. I'll keep you posted if it works.

Thats what I was going to try , just plain Ol' super glue :D

I think Shoe Goo is gonna be your best bet.

Be sure to wash the resin first, there's usually a lot of mold release on those parts.

I think so too.

And I may use it to build the backs of the parts up for strength.

If all else fails use Shoe Goo :crazy:
