This is a really nice set of L.E.D.s that can serve a few different purposes.

Take a look...

I dont really have a need for the top flashing lights but, Im sure I can tie them in and make them work elsewhere :nice:

I can't stand the flashing lights that work with the throttle, I see no point behind it. But I do like the idea of flashing lights as they could be used for emergency vehicles. Is there a way to set it up so that it flashes on command rather than throttle?

Not sure yet. I still need more time to mess with it ;)

Wow...sold out already. I think I will like a set for my current build but can live without the flashing lights on throttle.

Jugg2Driver, its easy, you can unplug that light. For now we cant change so it light up constantly during forward driving, we would have to update the software to get that done.

We already working on a Multi Function Unit, that allows more customization on the user end. And it will add a lots of features, like horn. This is coming out hopefully within 1-2 months.

thats pretty cool! not Im sure the flashing lights could just be wired in with the headlights instead so they dont flash.

I am sure this can be done easily. Like Mike said, they can be unplugged too.

Shame the reverse lights are red. I know they are supposed to be brake lights, but reverse throttle should trigger white leds, and red leds should light whenever throttle is reduced or let off. I have a brake light unit from RAM that the bulbs light whenever throttle is reduced or let off, not just when it gets to neutral.
Otherwise it looks pretty darn nifty, good job guys!

:update:

Got it guys!!!

No splicing needed just unplugged and moved some lights around

Brake lights with throttle idle, no brake lights in reverse , and white reversing lights, blue flashing lights while driving if wanted, if not unplug

Will post a video up ASAP

I will still be losing the flashing blue LEDs but figured I should show what they can do if used.

Here is what I moved around to get the results from the video I shot.
Uploading it now.

The good part of the LED's is that everything is built into the control box, so you can modify the bulbs and even add some bulbs for light bars.

Here is a listing of the bulbs

(4) yellow 3mm bulbs
(4) white 5mm bulbs
(2) red 5mm bulbs
(2) blue 5 mm bulbs

Here are a couple shots from the side of the case. This shows what each light does.

What radio are you guys testing with? Just wondering if it will work with GHZ radios.
Also, how much input before the blinkers activate?

I was using a digital radio

Doesnt take much to engage the indicator lights.

Oh I know you could do that; the Tamiya MFU does a similar thing with the cab lights. They flash when going forward, which to me to just seems odd. Its very unrealistic. Much like the fog lights flashing under forward throttle. Personally I want my lights to be on when I drive, not flashing.

I still think the SLS system is a damn good deal for what you get and the number of lights. I'll be picking up a set in the near future. My issue/question was simply why the need for the flashing lights under throttle.

Thats a trick little item I liked the way you shook it out in the last video.
I have a similar system still in the box for a build I have going and I'm going to use the test plug it together method as the instruction are barely English.
