i want one but i want to know a little more about it. what are some pros and cons of the TorqueMaster BR-XL's:thinking:

The only con I can think of is that it's not waterproof. But John may be working on that, his little Amish elves never sleep.

Pros are 6S lipo capable, 5A switching BEC, Castle Link programmable, and ultra smooth operation. Really the best ESC I've used.

Does it work with Vista? My MM does not, so I'm looking fo ra new ESC.

Make sure you have the latest version of Castle program. It's a free download.

To run Castle Link on Vista, right click and run as administrator.

"the mamba max is not conpatable with 32 bit computors".....
this is what Joe Ford at castle told me. they said they were working on the issue, it may be fixed by now upgrade ur cc software

i have a holmes esc on order from jp customs (more local) ive heard its just like a monster max in a sidewinder styled case. just wont run brushless if i remeber right. john gave out a few at palooza

I'm not sure about the 32b vista install, I installed Clink on a 64b Vista install no problem though.

I have a waterproofing option now too, it encases the ESC in epoxy and seals it totally. It also affects the warranty though, the details are listed on my site as well as a pic of it.
