I am not going to take credit on anything other than I put the exhaust pipes and the hog heaven decal on the hood. I got very lucky to be able to buy this. The Hilux was only run indoors and there is not one scratch on it. Not even the axles. Beautiful Tamiya sky blue paint with not one flaw.

Under the body, you will see two high torque, waterproof servos, waterproof ESC, and waterproof receiver box, all from Traxxas. Also included is a Bantam belt drive kit, RC4WD 4:1 unit, "soft" leaf springs, and rock stomper tires, all RC4WD.

I have never owned a rc vehicle this nice. I am really looking forward to getting to drive it. I just need to pick up a new radio and I think I will be set. I believe that I am going to leave the body the way Tamiya intended for it to be. I will more than likely build a new front bumper and I want to add a winch, but other than that, she is just going to stay like this.

This weekend she will be driven. Damn I can't wait. I wish I could say I had something to do with the build, but it was all spank :nice:

gotta give ol' spank some credit, it is a sharp lookin ride.
never seen that belt conversion actually driven, seen it on a few shelf queens and show trucks that were scared of anything other than carpet, curious to see it actually used!!

(and i'll throw some props his way for the portals i just picked up from him too)
