Well after several months of slacking off I finaly got this thing finished and painted and fixed the 4Tec it was going on and mounted it up. I'm actualy pretty disapointed in it cause it turned out worse than any other I had painted. 2 of the 3 paints I used I will NEVER use again cause I belive they were part of the problem. The purple was the enamel Pactra racing finish. It dried rubbery and pealed off like rubber cement. I had to cut along most of the tape line to keep it from peeling. The other is the Parma fascolor, faschrome. It wouldn't spray even, blead through like cray and just the smell turned my stomach. So over all this is a butcher job. It looks like crap when you get about 3 feet away or closer. Farther back it don't look too bad. I'm tempted just to buy another body and start over with all Acryl Pactra race finish. I realy like that paint.

And yes this thing is actualy a realy dark purple, no idea why it photographed blue http://www.preplayground.com/forum/images/smiles/thinking.gif

All pics are taken mounted to the 4tec

Thanks ^_^ I just wish I would have preped it better too, I think that would have helped alot along with better paints. With my bronco I only used the pactra Acryl paints and a lil of the faschrome but I made sure to realy prep the body better than ever before and have not had any issue, even with all the front end crashes, trying to climb stuff, all the roll overs, and even smashing in the sides, the paint is still perfict. So i'm kinda learning as I go. I know even if I would redo an Elky in the same manner it would turn out tons better than this.
