Hi guys,
I'm new to this site and wanted to share my mini with you and get some opinions too. I have this Tamiya Mini which I built a year or so ago. The body shell is a stock painted one. I've added a few hopups to the chassis. I've only run it once to make sure everything is ok. I have a spare Lexan body shell which I was thinking of doctoring into a pickup shell. as you can see from the pics, I have some different (oversize) wheels to go on it. Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. maybe someone has tried this before. I tried to find a pickup shell online, but they are too expensive from the US and Japan.
I've added the photos to my photobucket as the pics are to large to add here, so I hope the link works below
Thanks for looking.
Cheers.

I've also just ordered a Tamiya Ford Bronco which I want to make into a pickup too.

well, I have the same brushless motor etc. in my 4wd Vantage which does about 30mph. I've seen videos on youtube of one fitted with an 11.2v battery, and that flew. The Mini has only had a short test up the road and then back in storage. The shell came pre-painted, but I want to paint the new shell myself after alteration.

My first experience behind the wheel was in one of these, I was only 16yrs and it was great fun. I guess we never stop being kids, we just get bigger.
