* Anyone build a working Crane?*
I am building a working crane for my man Kat 8x8 that Dremelit and I are doing. Anyone done this yet? I want it to swivel, move in and out, up and down and release the cable. I am also considering having working landing gear.
any help, pics or threads would be great.

probably have better luck on garden trucking. ive seen the working outriggers somewhere, i think a german site. for the crane im thinking hydraulic setup using components like JIA's scorp?

right, some German modellers are quite keen in building loading-cranes, metal, plastic, hydraulic or mechanically operated (capstan), there some amazing projects going on: http://www.modelltruck.net/forumdisplay.php?f=134
Even when you might not understand the language, gazing at the pictures alone will give you some ideas.
