Well my mrc based scaler has been iraticated of all mrc running gear. I just got tired of fixing it all the time, too realistic of a jeep for me haha, always fixing it. So I fabbed up a new chassis with an axila tranny, and tlt axles. This should fix the problem. So now Ive got it mostly assembled. Im having a lil concern that it wont qualify for the ttr class at warcrc anymore with how wide the axles are now. I measured my mrc axles with the wideners and I thought it was the same width as a stock tlt axle. I mismeasured. So Im gonna have to run it with hpi stockcar rims. here are some pics for your viewing pleasure. This is with josh's mudthrashers on hpi rims right before my dog chewed up 3 of them. I still gotta get ahold of him to tell hm the news. Seems to flex good.

still need to do drivelines

all flexed up

I was gonna run some hpi stock car rims on here. Then when I decided to tear my traildocs off the landy wheels I realized, DUH I bought the landy wheels for lil joe and they are already weighted with 3oz. per wheel. So today I took the traildocs off and shoeglued on my cut hammers. I think it looks perfect and the landy wheels have the same offset as the hpi wheels, so it is as narrow as it can be. I would get action shots, but it is pouring rain here in western washington, and I dont want to melt. here are a couple poser shots of it all put back together. the only thing left is tuning the shocks.

Well Lil Joe made it into an rc mag this month. Im pretty stoked. sorry for the bad picture. It is in radio controlled Car Action. ride of the month. Of course it is an axle-less chassis and body sitting on the shelf right now. It might be making a fresh appearance at MSD nats this year.

Update for Lil Joe. well I got a request for a photoshoot from rc car action with lil joe so it is time for a rebuild. Well more like a reassembly. Im finding my link mounting locations were all goofed up so I am redoing that as well as making upper link mounts with some tube and plate. Also made new lower links with 8/32 and carbon fiber sleeves. not alot of tech but a few pics. Other than those undercarriage changes, Im not touching anything.

here was its current condition before yesterday.

got the rear hung and mocking the front

and rear done, front lowers made. just need to make uppers and hook up the steering.
