VWm, you put the rules together and decide a start and finish date. There is no one who needs to make it official. Once you get the rules together and dates just creat a new build-off thread for it and have anyone say that they're doing it.

I think he might do two categories, one for cars and one for trucks and dakar style hummers, f150s and that.

edit: instead of just bumping, may i ask to take the reins on this VWM?? i dont have anything to offer as a prize to the winner at the end but could certainly monitor everything, set dates, rules etc...

Klampy, you hear from VWM on this yet? Im going to be readyu to go with my rally in less than two weeks! I have the kit ready to go, I just need the time to build. Let's get this build-off started.

Here's a couple things to start for rules I think.

1.Needs to be new build, can rebuild, rework existing body and chassis.

2.Two categories rally car, typical 2 wd, 4 wd rally cars, rally "truck" class-Dakar, hummers, multi-axle.

I guess we can at least start to compile ideas until this takes off.

absolutely, my build is a cross between baja and pikes peak. so would fit in the 4wd rally car class.

i just want to get stuck in and feel anything that races on dirt could be classed as long as its realstic/scale to what it was originally.

what do you think?
