CM_113's AXX 10 "Teufels "Maultier" A.K.A langsam wie eine Schildkröte build

as a few of you that are Facebook friends with me know i got a used and abused Ax 10 off Craigslist.. well it was supposed to be a rtr..... not likely..... sooo again i move forth to build a ttc 2.2 scalerish truck, its going to be 4ws/4wd this will be a long project for my funds are way way low.. but anyway on to the photos of what i have


first is the ax 10 as i got it, then some photos of the x trail frame rails i added , then the custom end plates, and on to the clocked lowered and centered tranny plate
paint for the body, CHECK!, paint scheme, CHECK!,painter , CHECK!. servo plates modified, CHECK!tranny mount refabed for the 15th time CHECK! 4 link mounts W.I.P. ........enjoy the photos...























well thats all the photos up until i got mad at the aluminum tranny brace and went to steel




added 2.2 bajas, rock rippers, losi crawler shocks



now to an idea for the paint. now this just an idea

and thats it to this point, post more photos when i get more work done

Very interesting, custom made parts are always great, it's exciting to see it all come together.

short update: had to tear it back down to add holes for the upper 4 links, put it back together .still sorting the 4 links , front end has a yaw to it.

WELL Boys and Girls , looks like BALLGAME for this project, after a trade gone bad i don't have the 2 speed to finish this build, and don't have the parts to even make it a roller...... BUT i will be back!!!!!!! i do plan to finish this tundra bodied truck , i do plan to have it painted like i have shown in this post ...... more to follow
