Sorry. No idea. I think there was a brand that used Monogram kits as bodies, Robbe or something like that.

Don't worry, Jimmy, Craig builds a lot faster then I do!
I am sure he's got something brewing.

This rig is shaping up to be amazing, why not get a re release 1/16 peterbilt kit and put that cab on this chassis. The wedico petes just don't look quite right for some reason.

Thanks, I'm not into plastic trucks. If the Wedico does not look right to you remember it is a 359 not a 379, the only issues I have with the way it looks now is getting the stance correct, those front tires and fenders got to get a lot closer without getting too much of a dragster look in the truck.

The Wedico's are way over built and far superior in quality.
I have both tamiya and wedico trucks, The tamiya's have way more custom parts and the have a great price point. but dont sell the wedico short. ![]()

Dr. Seuss frame rails in place, still need fenders, headache rack, longer tanks, etc., etc., etc.
![]() ![]() Have some new rear suspension parts coming, this truck will sit level before I quit! Last edited by Claus : 03-30-2012 at 09:55 PM. |

Keep the ball rolling, Craig! It's coming together a little at a time. It can be a little disappointing and slow, I know, but hang in there. Nice updates!

More parts, front bumper by Russ in the Boneyard, no mounting holes showing. Front cross member and hood hinges by Nathan and the Southern Pacific. And RC Damper servo mounts machined down to Wedico size by Lynn TC1Cat. Thanks guys! You Rock! Also Wedico 1/4 fenders, mounted loosely for now.
Never mind the wires hanging down inside the cab and the extra hole in the frame rails, lots of loose ends to address yet. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Craig, your truck is looking so sharp! I'm really glad to see this thing coming together for you now. Love the bumper and the look it gives. Matches nicely with the visor, pipes, steps, and rear fenders. Every time you do something with this truck, it looks more realistic. Loosing the bumper screws paid off huge.
