Spinning a set of compasses in a drill wouldn't be my first choice for cutting out a circle!

I like my eye's and fingers.

Meh.....looks pretty safe to me, plus there is the benefit of sizes not included in a hole cutter set.

Go slow, take your time, and all should be well.

If you have a Michaels home hobby store by you they sell a compass with a razor to cut perfect circles. It works awesome too and was only $7

Use OLFA circle cutter. It's easy as well as cheap.
