a easy way is to use a hole saw set as in this link , http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?q=hole+saw+set&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=r72&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB

Spinning a set of compasses in a drill wouldn't be my first choice for cutting out a circle!
I like my eye's and fingers. Drills and Proper Hole Cutters all day long. |

Meh.....looks pretty safe to me, plus there is the benefit of sizes not included in a hole cutter set. Go slow, take your time, and all should be well. |
