Got the electronics installed. The esc and receiver tuck nicely behind the front seats. Servo cable runs through the shift tunnel. All tested ok with a quick run around my shop. Last thing is to make a platform for the battery. When the body is on, the electronics are hidden from view.

I was thinking the battery shelf will go over the electronics-that will be enclosed and have scale details as if it were a rear deck.

here you go! I covered the esc and receiver with a battery tray then made a fuel cell to house the battery. Bottom pic is one of the reference photos I used for the fuel cell. Let me know what you think.

Lincoln Woods is a nice place to run the RC's, since you have a beach, woods with trails, open grass and pavement right there. Just don't go on a very nice day...

I gotta say, if I built this, I would have a 90 turn crawler motor installed, and I would drive it like an old man on his way to church.

Ha! this thing is already slower than a standard Scorcher because of the weight. At least with the current motor.

Agree-I need to go when it is not crowded-so I don't have someones dog confuse this for a chew toy.
