Default Need LiPo Battery Charging Advice

I bought a Venom 5000mAH LiPo with a Passport 6s LiPo charger and the connectors don't match.

The charger's connector is a male deans plug (I think, not entirely sure)

While the battery is a female

But the battery came with a small adapter that will allow the two cords to connect.

Is this a safe way to charge the battery, or should I get a dean plug designed specifically for my battery?

The adaptor is safe, but I suggest going DEANS with everything you have. Makes thing A LOT easier. I even wire my brushed motors with deans. I just switch the male-female so you can't plug the battery into the wrong place on the ESC. I can post pictures.

Check your polaritys.

You DO NOT want to get those mixed up.

Deans plug does the job at best. I got this multi charge cable just for $18 that made the things quite easier anyway.

I had the same set up in my crawlers and after a ton of use the adapters start wearing and get sloppy and the plugs get very hot, "not Good"..I would recommend also what the other guys Have said about changing all the ends out to deans ends. A small soldering kit and a couple of 5 Pack deans ends are very inexpensive compared to most of the other things we buy in our hobby Quest. Their are also very inexpensive soldering guns that do the job just fine and a must have Item from time to time. This is my new set up and I,m just waiting on the T-rex to deans adapters to arrive so I can charge and balance 6 batt at once. I'm into this set up for under $50.00 brand new, The hard part was finding a correct wall charger plug because it came with car battery clips only.
