I bought a Venom 5000mAH LiPo with a Passport 6s LiPo charger and the connectors don't match.
The charger's connector is a male deans plug (I think, not entirely sure) ![]() While the battery is a female ![]() But the battery came with a small adapter that will allow the two cords to connect. ![]() Is this a safe way to charge the battery, or should I get a dean plug designed specifically for my battery? |

The adaptor is safe, but I suggest going DEANS with everything you have. Makes thing A LOT easier. I even wire my brushed motors with deans. I just switch the male-female so you can't plug the battery into the wrong place on the ESC. I can post pictures.
