The Rc4wd Moulded Driver Parts.
I was sent two to test a month or so ago First things first this looks distinctively like the Tamiya Hilux/Blazing Blazer Parts Tree whether that’s a bad thing I don’t know but they are tried and tested and work well in scale trucks. The Plastic is slightly shiny and not as white as the Original, The Sprue is Clean and there is no flash on any of the pieces. ![]() Detail on the Head Parts looks good as good as the Original in my eyes. 2 Heads included so you can chose between Helmeted and Hairy. ![]() Body Details are also of a high standard ![]() The Head and Arms also have the Little Locating nubs making assembly very easy. ![]() The Pieces go together very easily and I secured this one with CA Glue. ![]() All together in less than 5 Minutes all that was needed was a craft Knife and some CA Glue. Take some time with a little sandpaper if you like. ![]() Next some Grey Automotive Primer and we went straight on without filling Washing and Sanding so you can see the details. No adhesion Problems at all. Obviously not perfect you can see the joins in the Arms but remember 5 Minutes to get to this stage. Take some and your going to have a lovely figure. ![]() More Soon... Why call it a Scale Plastic Driver Figure when it's clearly a repro?
They should at least include some legs.... It looks good and all, but isn't very universal, unless it comes with hand controls to mount in trucks also. |

Not when a Rough Resin Repro is $20.00 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tamiya-Hilux-B...-/380338005555 I'd pay $5.00 dollars extra so that you can paint it straight away. |

Sorry for bring an old(ish) thread back from the dead.
But with the Bruiser not far away now, I've bought 2 of these. They look real nice. And I'm looking forward to painting one. My question is, has any one painted one of these yet? I've been searching for painted examples, but haven't had much luck finding any. |

Looks good HM, too bad someone won't just make a more modern looking head for these bodies. I'd like a guy with a buzz cut or something more modern, not the typical '70s Burt Reynolds hair!
YOurs painted does look good though.
