Come on guys, let's help a fellow member out here, if the shoe was on the other foot and all that. I'm aiming to get enough to cover what the insurance want him to pay before they replace the items. We've all donated in the past, let's keep on giving and keep our community here one that has each others back. I know i donate for everything that comes up, it gives you a really nice warm feeling inside knowing that your helping out.

I've donated in the past to a few things, but unfortunately its not the best time for me...barely enough fundage to go around for my fiance and I. I hope they catch the prick to get you some closure...and hopefully get back some of that lost sense of security.

WTH Ed, I leave for awhile and this happens, that sux, I know, I've been there, and its not a good feeling..

The 1st time, my 14 year old daughter was still sleeping (summer vacation)and I was at work, and I assume it was kids and her being there startled them, otherwise it could have been worse.

So I fixed the door where they broke in, and hoped that was it....

A month later, they could'nt get the basement door open, even after they busted the big glass window in the door. (very old door)( I did a hell of a job to make sure no one got it open..lol) but,,as you all know, there's always another way in...they busted the glass in the back door, and just unlocked the deadbolt..

I lost a work laptop, and countless jars of change and sat at my work table in the basement and doodled on the bench and they must have wondered if my RC planes and trucks were any use to them, because you could tell someone sat there and scrawled on the table and the wing of one I was building...

So, that was in 2004, and I still get jittery when I head in from the garage even now...even this little one horse town that I live in now is having theft problems...its about time to invest in some friends.


Ed, Ian, my apologies, but I just got back from a little vacation and the money is just not there. It may have to be a few weeks, I've even gotta a guy selling some of my old slot car stuff on ebay.

I went a little wacky buying things for me... before I left.. Toyota wacky..
