Thanks hotness and 8ball, I think its gona be a tuff lil bugger.One it really don't weigh enough to hurt its self ,the walnut chassis has a little flex.What broke the ski was the prop hit it although i knew it was going to be weak their the way i did it... almost put some washers on that area, got in a hurry as usual . ha. I need patients,anybody have some they can give me?????

Second chassis a success...The only thing i had to change was prop for a wee little bit more thrust. nothing broke or fell off.
It don't like foot prints. powder was the funnest. more stable on icy road, but still swaps end at higher throttle. Needs scags if i want to run in ice. And the steering could use a wee scooch more throw. ![]() |

BBBBRRRRRR 4 -neg here and getting colder. Update on zoom zoom...Added skags and increase throw on steering. freaking way better....
![]() Was only running 3 cell 11.0 25c lipo this time and couldn't even throttle it out on the road because its gone before you know it. total blast would recommend any one else to try one. Come on warmer weather though.... AND NOTHING BROKE OR FELL OFF AGAIN YEA.....Maybe vid next weekend. gona run out off virgin snow..... ah the church.....calling this one done fellers. about 15 hrs in this build all said and done,now comes the fun Thanks again,rcron ![]() |

Some more pics of the progress. The brass snow plane my father built way back in 1992 .That is what I am using for my reference. The hood/nose will be removable to access servo and linkage, This one will be a in line two seater. Removable canopy,to access battery and electronics. Chassis is 24 inches long height is 5 1/2. I'll use heavy clear plane covering to cover body.
