Lookin forward to see the scraper in action Joe

With all the iron you have now Joe, you better start looking for a full time mechanic and a farm hand..

You looking for a career change Greg?

Marty, considering the cdn dollar is 77 cents US, that equals approx $8180 for me... plus the added costs of all the shipping involved.

And also considering all the problems I've had with the 740 and only accumulating maybe 10 to 15hrs actual run time in 1.5yrs between breakdowns... well, I won't be rushing to buy anymore wdc junk anytime soon.

Hello Daniel,

Don't know, haven't seen much info on the Carson tl and I don't have much experience with electric actuator models. I prefer my models to run on hydraulics, more power & smoother - quicker function.

Not much with the hobby lately, busy with newborn calves & -35 temps... the weather today has finally reached the + temps, I sure hope Spring has arrived! With the cold temps & constant checking for newborns, I've spent some time tinkering in the shop to build a new screener... maybe I'll get it done this wkend and have pics to show.

Ohhh, the previous three yrs have been really mild from early March onward, so I guess we're due for a yr of below average temps. I've had three sets so far, transplanted one to another cow who lost her's, one twin got laid on and one from the thrid set from Saturday nite got abandoned by her mother Sunday afternoon, so I've been pail feeding it since Monday morning. Fun & games...

Hi Joe,

It's Nathan (Espeefan) from the GT message board. I've pretty much given up hope on ever viewing photos posted there too. Seems you and I are one of the few who have this problem. Anyway, I've been hanging out here for some time now, having joined here before I ever got into the trucks and other equipment. I never really read this thread until tonight. Even loaded a couple videos - the shorter ones - on dial-up still. I've been thinking about upgrading to a wireless internet card someday, if I ever buy a lap top. It would be worth it to watch all the videos on the internet that I can't really watch now. Anyway, just saying Hi and letting you know you're not the only mis-fit garden trucker hanging out here.

Hi Joe

First - Sorry for being off topic here.
There's a thread on the norwegian RC truck forum, titled:

"A tribute to a "crazy" canadian"

If you wonder....Yes, it's about you and your epic project. Well deserved!!!
If you can find the time, please drop by and say hello.

Here's the link:

Hello Nathan,
I knew your username here, afterall you're the one who told me of this forum a few yrs ago. My Xplornet connection has been giving me alot of grief the last yr & it's likely the major cause to my problems with the Garden... it could be other things too... I got another year on my contract with them and then I'll be looking for something else more reliable.

Hello Ole,
I checked out your thread on your forum using google translate, and I registered. But I'm having difficulty posting a reply... perhaps I'll have time to figure it out tomorrow, I gotta go snore, the days have been averaging 14-16hrs. But please do thank your Norwegian friends for their praise of my basement project, dearly noted & much appreciated!
