Default TheBakedBeans - Mercedes Benz 230 G

I'm super excited!! Normally I wouldn't post a project until I am finished with it (it's just my way) but I wanted to let you in on a sneak peak of a special little model I found at my LHS.

Here is a quick mock up of the soon to come Mercedes Benz 230 G

I hope I can find some tires/wheels that are a bit more scale.

Nice, should make a really nice model.
I was looking for smaller scale tires too and a guy gave me this link over on my Haynes Land Rover diecast thread, have a look and maybe it will be of help, so far these are some of the smallest I've seen.

If you find something better please post it so I can see them too.

Good luck

I thought about trying that kit more than once. Looks like a fun build.

Can't wait to see it done.
How about Xmod offroad tires or Aioshima swampers?
