Default Im a noob looking to get ride of tamiya chrome

Anyone know the best/fastest/less work way to strip chrome off Tamiya plastic parts?

I though easy off may do the trick, or CLR?

I know the spray-on foaming oven cleaner I got that stripped the annodizing off my axial links works a treat on the chrome. Unless it's painted. Then it wont budge :S

Well the bumpers had some trim paint on them, plus for the grill I still needed the chrome behind the headlight lenses (F-350 parts) So I had to resort to the good old 20 min of sanding . Worked like a charm though, thanks guys! will remember those tips for next time.
