Default more help.... spring mounts

i have used seacrh button but cant really find exact info what would be the best / easiest/ cheapest way to mount leaf springs on to sxc10 axles?

it has two holes on top but dont line up with tamiya highlift springs,

was thinking of beiding 3mm threaded rod into u clamps and make a flat part for nuts to sit on like full size , or make a little adaptor that bolts into the 2 holes with one sticking up for spring,

i have my own pillar drill , 4ft lathe , mig and tig welders , full size oxy acltyne welding gear lol ,

just wondered if theres easier / better ways to do it?

thanks ken
