I know when I make mine on a Canon bubble jet printer I just spray them with several thin coats of Clear. I have made water slide decals this way and had no issues with the ink bleading at all. Just make sure they are light coats

What red devil said. I usually use a clear matte spray. 2 or 3 coats and water slides don't bleed at all.

Is it water slide or adhesive? I bought 20 sheets of 8.5 x 11 injet printable clear water slide for cheap (I'll have to look it up to remember how much). It works pretty well if you soak in warm water and leave a little water under the decal when you slide it onto the surface. Here http://www.decalpaper.com/category-s/2.htm

My bro tried some of it last week and had problems the first time. The second time he tried it no problems at all. And he's not a beginner with waterslides.

thanx joe but thats not what i bought.
this is what i tried so far.
the first clear one, prints and sticks well, but its like scotch tape, the adhesive makes it very hazy.
the second one also prints very well, but is adhesive backed paper, wont last very long.
the third is what i just tried, barely sticks to anything including glass.

I haven't tried it, but read on here ages ago, that you can use clear nail varnish to stick and waterproof your stickers to your bodyshell.
Might be worth a try if MrsIgotit has any lying around!!

I have never had luck with the office supply decal sheets. I get the wet slide sheets from the LHS, they are 8.5" x 11", I think you get 5 sheets for around $8.00. they come in both clear and white. Check with outcastrc and see what he uses for the winch decals. They are very good quality and water proof.
