it depends on what/where you wheel, how you feel your rig performs. Like for me my scx10 based jeep (for where i wheel) does what i want it to, how and when i want. so I'm doing scale upgrades. just got a scale fuel cell. My xj runs leaf springs in the rear so im going to get revolver shackles for more flex. Now after saying all that the short way to say it in my opinon it comes down to Looks or performance. Go to rpphobby.com or rc4wd's site and look around. hope this helps sorry its so long

The 1.9 mudslingers are tiny in my opinion, better for say a MRC axled build than scx10. What tire are you currently running?

Check out some of the stuff on Hobbyking or Hobbypartz. I think it's the Thunder AC6 that a lot of guys start out with. Great for the price and you can pick up a few batteries for decent price as well.
