Default my ssmt build number 2

MOCK-UP STAGE

I've actually done a lot more to it than it appears... so far I've cut the entire molded-in floor out and did a full comp cut on the body. I'm not sure if I am going to use this chassis or make one from scratch.

this is the kit I used.

so far.

I'm sure this will be a cool build... the dodge was nice except for the whole dodge part. I've got the same jeep to build up... should be fun.

make and model doesn't really matter in r\c dude... they all use the same internals... it only applies to the shape of the body. and I am no dodge lover but the body style looks good. and it's different than what's already been done w ssmt's.

You have those tires mocked up at SSMT width? I seem to remember the SSMT being way too wide for that body (of course, I only have maybe the front half of that body left from my kit). That one looks just right to be modeled after a CJ on fullwidths.

that's awesome, I have that same model but I'm going to actually build it into a model since I have no axles I'm sure I'll build one like it eventually though. And that is a lot of work to cut out that floor.

Can you post up more pics of that rear comp cut?

thanks
