This is a great build off with lots of cool entries. After looking at them for the past few weeks I decided to join in. Thanks for not limiting it to totally new builds. My build won't be nearly as extensive or detailed as some but it'll be fun and that is the whole point after all. I'm going to take my short course bodied micro dt and give it a little baja flair. Here is the linky to the build thread.

I am going to have to drop out of this one, I just got hit with a big tax bill so there is no way I am going to be able to build mine without buying any bits for it.......

You've all seen the video of this truck, so I guess I'll throw it in the comp.

Please put me in for the, 2wd Unlimited Truck / SUV

No kidding....I'm exausted.

JUST OVER A WEEK TO GO......CRUNCH TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't forget building ends NOV. 19 at that time you must post up your official Baja Build-Off Pic right here. I'll give until the end of the day Nov 20th to get everyone in. At that time I'll transfer your pics to a poll where we'll get 3 days to vote. Sound good? Great...get back to work

Donations- I'll be donating a WK axle housing nib to Best of Baja. Also trying to secure some stickers for us. Any other donations?

I'd like to thank you guys for starting this build-off as it's got me to work a little harder on completing one project before starting and working on others. My fake scorcher doesn't stand a chance against all the awesomely detailed real ones that have entered but it will be finished, or at least running and looking like a bug, by the deadline. I wanted to do a styrene interior with driver but might not have time for that.

We submit only one pic right?

Its not my official entry pic and its not a winner compared to all the other awesome rigs but here is mine.

I got it finished over the weekend. I had a blast building it. Thanks for starting the build off.

technically this one would be under the stock suspension class. slash suspension pro 2 with a custom chassis using the same body as above

Looney, are you entering 2 seperate classes or just throwing this one in because the U2 is axleless? I slightly modified the stock class rules to be a little clearer of what I ment by them. Basically this second truck would still be Unlimited 2 do to the fabbed chassis. If you entensions are to enter only one class then I think everyone wants to the the indy/straight version. You might be tore down at the moment but everyone knows you were running. I think you should go with that one. What do you say?

Attention Builders-

I'm looking at the entry list and judging by the links there seems to only be 1 - 2 people in each class with a rig. Kind makes voting for best of class pointless. What do you say we just open it up and have the board vote for Best Of Baja?

Also lets just have one Official Pic. So you Guys up there let me know which one.

Prize- As I said before I'm giving up a wk axle housing and I'll add an axial motor and a Baja Junkies T-shirt (xl)
