Right so I've seen this mentioned before, but have never found a reference to it in the rules. Anybody know any pointers to the rule?

Example - I run a class 1 legal truck through the course. Come back to the start, and swap out the class 1 tyres for larger-diameter class 2 tyres (and maybe the front axle for OD gearing), and re-run the course. Come back, and swap the class 2 tyres out for 2.2s and re-run the course.

So technically (according to spec) I could argue that it's not the same truck. Physically it's the same everything, except tyres and possibly front axle.

Similarly, if I felt I was just that good, why can't I re-run class 2 and class 3 with with my class 1 spec truck? While there's sense in not doing it, where's the sense in not allowing it?

I'm with Fourth on this, as way toying with using my current Class 2 rig in Class 3 by just putting on some larger rubber... But sounds like this may not be permitted?

Don'tthink this was ever put down in the rules ,but we did have a chat way back (about 6 years ago I'm guessing )may have been at a meet or when we started holding comp and we came to this, no tyre swapping .and probably not added to rules as the question was not asked .as for running a class 1or2 truck in class3 that's ok (can't see the point really)but said truck can not drive the courses set out for class1or 2.

Should have 6 courses for 2moro .some easy some well let's say technical, should keep everyone happy rocks ,mud and water (no more than axle deep !)

Right now for the important bit.
Score cards please remember to put your forum name on them for each class you compete in.
Secondly please total your scale and course points .I won't be doing it for you.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
On going to oxshott this will only happen if the bikes have a meet (they pay for the site ).this has only happen once in 6 years .

Big thanks to Paul for organizing and layout today's comp.
6 good sections to start the year.

Nice to see new faces and trucks joining the group today and very lucky with the weather stayed dry right through to the finish at 14.00hrs.

next meeting 09.30 Oxshott February 26th please look out for new thread on forum for details.

George and Mark have agreed to run April 30th Meeting at Hatfield details will be posted on forum end of March

Was really fun, even if I did score badly. Courses were great in my opinion =).
