.

Minor progress with not much to show.

I started cutting the interior to fit in the modified cab.

I was also never happy with the suspension travel of the front or rear. So I changed the rear from 1/4 elliptical to coil-overs and changed the front coils to coil-overs also. Im happy with the rear once I get the bed modified but still want to try and get more travel in the front. No pictures of this yet.

Because I stretched the wheel base some, the rear needed to be modified so I could get full suspension travel. I'm using the older RC4WD tube bed for the SCX10. The shocks were binding on the outer pieces that run length wise so I cut them out and cut off the back " cross member" of the bed so I can raise the fenders of the bed to get full up travel without the tires hitting and also change the rear cross member for a better fit.

I'm going to cut the bed rail where it starts to bend down to where the wheel well was and just extend the front of the wheel well up to meet it. Then extend it back far enough to cover the tire. Hope that makes sense. I'm no good at welding so a friend will help with that. I'm also waiting to find some 3/16th solid steel square stock.
