Sweet lets see some comparison shots with familiar stuff (wheels tires or other rc's) if you get a chance.

The width of the body is almost the same as the Dingo. Only a about 4mm wider.

The flares on the Dingo are narrowed. With the original width flares there would be hardly any difference in width.

So you could cut out the Dingo interior and put it in the TRX. And you could probably use the Dingo windshield as a clear replacement for the sticker. Then just cut out the front side windows and drive around with your elbow out.

The Dingo cage fits inside the TRX. Only the spare tyre carrier is in the way of the rear body posts.

Any luck now?

The tyres have almost the exact same diameter as the Axial Trepadors. The foams feel good but time will tell if they go too soft.

I got to check one out at the hobby store in Boise, and it isn't as big as everyone made it sound. The body is huge but; the chassis, tires, over all width isn't all that big. Without the body, its not much longer than a my crawlking wheel based WheelyKing, and it is narrower than my truck.

Everything looked nice, but it is not as big as the internet had me thinking it was.

I have been waiting for Tower to get it in stock, and the listing as of today says "Discontinued". When is it supposed to be readily available? I need this NOW!

Tower hobbies and Traxxas had a falling out of sorts (long story). I was backordered too..

You'll have to find one at a different store, either online or local. They are out there, just not at Tower.

If no one has seen it, Medic yanked the stock body off and is running the Jeep Cherokee body off the Axial SCX 10 II. Looks like it fits just fine.

Default Too good?

Maybe a dumb question, but for owners of this truck, does all of it's features remove some of the fun? Is it too good and remove some of the challenge of driving well? I get bored with my trucks once they work really well...Think I enjoy the modding so much! It has pretty much everything I want in a rc truck, maybe too much so.

I knew something was going on. I'd be interested to here the story on that. I have probably purchased $5k in Traxxas stuff from tower of the period of my life... (Like new Slegehammers and a Hawk 2). This kinda sucks.
