Thank you. That's very cool! What are you doing with the chassis?

I think those wheels work. I like 15-16" wheels on muscle cars, but there are a lot of people going 20" and up so they aren't that out of place.

Hi
the chassis is really 'basic' no suspension and differential but maybe I'll put a good esc and receiver in the first time
If I had time I would build it a good chassis, using parts from WPL B1 truck like rear axle and springs and a small mabushi under the hood like speed 280 for example

1-Adam-12, in it's natural habitat, a truck and construction meet. (Why it was originally posted in the BigRig/Semi discussion)

Mustang said he'd only hook up the bus and drag it around if i posed the black & white.

My bus was 'suspicious'...

I got my buddy with the Crackerbox at the show take parts home to mill some adapters to mate a toy-grade gearbox up to my Matadors' Steelies, so i should hopefully be able to mark the unit In Service soon.

Now i need to order a servo, esc. and still need to try to figure out a light control and siren.

Hi

If looking for "cheap" wheels for other project in 1/16 scale I have found these on ebay
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2pcs-Car-Ti...AOSwq~tZTkP o
https://www.ebay.com/itm/4pcs-38-13-...sAAOSwj85YPg6e
pictures with nikko dodge charger "fast and furious" for comparison
there is no"hex" inside but with minor modification its easy to add

Kinda a hack setup, but i'm not building a race car.
Though i might be able to stop some... (heh, now i REALLY need to track down that dodge wing-car) "Boy, you in a heap of trouble."

Brass plate ties a toygrade gearbox into chassis. Nothing very fancy. Still need to setup axle adapters for setscrews.

I think i can live with that ride height for now.

Also drilled the broken roof antenna, installed 30lb fishing line

The photocar donor trans was setup too slow, i managed to find a different motor, and got it up over parade speed.

"This black & white patrol car has an overhead valve V8 engine producing 328 hp at 4800 rpm, it accelerates from 0-60 in 7 seconds and has a top speed of 120 mph..."

"It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas."

"There ain't no way...no WAY...you could'a come from my loins. When we get home, the first thing I'm gonna do...is punch your Mama in the mouth!"

Nothing of value to add other than my two favorite cop quotes and nice work. What was the "dodge wing-car" you wanted to track down?

Illinois nazis, i hate illinois nazis... Heh, love the Blues Brothers. Not sure what the other quote is from.

There was a Nikko 1/16 scale fast & furious 6 "Dodge Challenger Daytona" (the typo is correct) that an Aussie guy with great taste in cars had posted as a static car near some of his semis.

If i could find one, it'd be fun to change it to either a yellow/black Plymouth Roadrunner, or a street version (no eyes in windshield) of the Dinoco blue guy from Cars.
Long time ago my dad had a 69 Roadrunner in dark green, plan was to go yellow with black hood and trunk stripe but it had rotted away pretty badly and got sold for something reliable. I just really like the wing cars ever since i started seeing some that come play at Indy Raceway Park, there were always a Dodge and a Plymouth that would cruise together...

...and then at this rate i'll need to build a scummy looking Used Car Lot to take to the shows to park all these at.

Hey now there's an idea.... used car lot with a beaten up yellow bug parked up too maybe??

Why quoted from the honorable Sheriff Buford T. Justice of course (original Smokey and the Bandit was always the best one.)

What's beat up yellow Beetle from? Transformers?

It's been too long since i saw that one. All that for a load of Coors beer... Not even very good beer, just hard to get outside their delivery area.

Once i get some resistors i can finally start wiring up my 2 switched light channels using servo boards.

Headlight, marker lights, tail lights together.
Roof light solid reds, wigwag yellows.

Gotta love fancy flashy lights!

Yep, original transformers bumblebee ..or go red for cliffjumper. A beat up Beatle amongst the kombis, trucks and dodges.. just seemed to fit in.

And I don't even drink so the whole premise is rather pointless ..apart from the tire smoke that is.

I got the headlights circuit working on the servoboard switch, then hotglue mounted wiring to body, cut wiring to size, retermed. Didn't have enough cheap servos to set up the roof lights yet.

Patrolling the warehouse district

1adam12, 1adam12 vehicle accident with roll-over, entrapment.

An awesome looking brushfire rig responded with me. Sure wish there were an ambulance available, but that guy is a slacker...

Who doesn't like donuts? Don't even have a donut shop there, so ya gotta drive a ways.

It's hard to go after a truck that still doesn't have a speed control. There were some highspeed chases of a guy in a hot-rodded russian 6x6 truck, they started after he sideswiped some guys camp trailer.

Plus the take down lights aren't working, and there's no siren.
