My aunt has a Canon EOS Rebel - she takes some great pics too...

I only have a little Sanyo digital - and the old Minolta X700 35mm SLR that doesnt get used much anymore...

and that last pic - if it wasnt for the fence posts on the right side - I would have sworn you took that on my road last week! That looks almost identical to where I live! main county road is 1/4 mile north of us and looking up the road to it looks just like that - open fields on all sides of the intersection - the woods up the road on the other side...Yup, you could have been on my road very easily (the road often looks like that in the winter, too!)
My 1st Camera was a hand-me-down from my daughter and, yes, it is a EOS Digital Rebel. It takes great pictures, but I have been wanting a newer one, so tax time let me get what I wanted, sort of.

The new one is a Canon also, a D60, and I'm having more fun with it at the moment then my 72 build.

Darn, you figured out that I have been stalking you... kidding, just kidding.

These pics are hot off of the camera, from yesterday.

As I left for work, the "almost full moon" was setting.

and then there are these old timers

I've been at it again

1st, a train coming out of the fog.

A really scruffy Raccoon

A statue of Robert Wadlow in Alton Illinois, if you know who he was...

And Eagles just love these birds, they are Coots.

Here is the Illinois River at Havana Illinois, the boat ramp is out past the lights, you just need to go down that road past the picnic tables..

And a cute sign on top of a tall pole, that says it all "Thanks For Floating By"

And more tractors, and this guy must have several hundred of them outback, its crazy. Really, hundreds of them...

I'm not sure anything is for sale, although I could be wrong. I may have to ask, I would love to get in there and take tons of pictures.

Just down the road there is an old deserted mansion with cars and trucks and some really nice looking old travel trailers. I would like to get up in that place to, but I'm sure it would be tresspassing and I don't need that. I'll have to get a longer lens.

I have had good luck with going to county courthouse and finding out who owns the land and then asking them about cars and/or trucks
I have bought 3 and my son has bought a half dozen like this
folks are glad that we went to the trouble and did not just steal them that we got great prices also ,but others have just said no thanks lol

I'm trying, but at the moment I'm on the road to the Grand Canyon. I hope to get some good pics there.

We went through Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and now New Mexico, and I haven't seen much that I want to take pics of, and when I do I'm driving, so that's not safe.

Anyway, "hello" from Gallup, New Mexico..

Cool pics Jeffro! Hope you are enjoying your trip. Some of those pics of the crop dusters look like model RC planes!
