Well guys it was a blast today. Everyone that didn't make it, should feel ashamed of themselves. Thanks to TCS, CAC, Stage 3 Racing, RC4WD, RPP Hobby, and of course Scale4x4rc.us for the support in all the raffle prizes. Andy, Matt, Heath, Cameron, and anyone else that was in charge, a big thanks to you guys. It was a top notch setup that ya'll had going, no issues, everything ran very smoothly.

Here are some pics that I snapped along the way.

The comp was an absolute blast. To all the guys I know it was good seeing you again. If yesterday was the first time we had met it was nice to meet you!

Thanks to all the vendors who supplied items for the raffle. With my winnings and some trading I ended up with some more Flat Irons, a set of Stock Car wheels, and an X-Trail Chassis with hardware kit.

I think I set a record today. I had the x-trail for about 30 minutes before I tore the Blazer apart to set it up on the new chassis. In a little over an hour I was up and running. After the night run I came home and got to work. It is now 4:35 and the Blazer has the X-trail chassis set up pretty decent. The wheelbase and links need a little tweaking. It has a basic interior and the new wheels installed. In the morning I am going to glue the tires and borrow some shocks off of an old nitro buggy and see if they will do a little better than the old TLT ones I am running.

Here is how she looks.

See you guys in about 5 1/2 hours.

Oh Good Gravy what a time we had!!

There's some great photo's up already and I'm barely home and have not even downloaded yet! Thanks to all the folks who made the trip. We had some guys trek quite a long way from Arkansas and Louisiana and it was nice to meet new people and be able to put faces with the names....err...screen names that is. I believe we had representation from the following states: big Georgia crowd, also Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas, and North Carolina, and of course Alabama. Might have missed one. We had a nice turnout and there were a couple of folks that I never got around to getting to meet (there was so much going on), but we thank you for joining us.

The sponsor support was outstanding as well as scale4x4rc's contributions (thanks Matt!). I think it really worked out well for all parties involved, and it thrilled us Alabama guys to be able to put on this event with the cooperation of Matt (Jugg2Driver) and Camaron (LastClodStanding). Thanks Andy (lappdogg) and Brandon (nodnarb) for all your efforts in helping make the event possible.

Will try to get some pics up soon, and hopefully will find the time to get a video within a week or so.

Heath

I just got home not long ago, want to say thanks to all who made it possible, thanks to the sponsors as well. It was a great time, my first and definatly not my last, scale comp.

Here are some pictures that i managed to snap, but since my camera is old and slow, i stick more to trashing my rigs than photography.

Night pics... Still sifting through, didnt come out too good, i think these are about the best i have. Will take a harder look at all of them after ive had some sleep.
