Thanks, its coming together slowly.
Spent more time searching for mig wire and a small tank of shielding gas than I did welding. Out of practice, but that's why there are grinders.

Threw some paint on it, just to see how it looks. Still need to clean up my welds.

Managed to find all the pieces. Currently waiting for the glue to fully cure before I pull the tape off and see what else will need to be repaired.

Body repair is going well. Worked on the new exhaust stack. The Turn out is from the Grand Hauler, the main pipe is a curtain rod, and just a copper elbow at the bottom.
Slow progress. Stack trimmed and mostly fitted. by Gordon Latimer, on Flickr

The body work continues. Sanded down along the cracks to give the plastic putty something to grab onto. Its a little thick, but it will sand down nicely. Inside and outside are covered to add a little more structure to it.

Glad to see the repairs looking so good. You could also reinforce the interior with fiberglass pieces and resin. That would help to prevent any repairs from cracking again.

Lookin good so far...

Holy crap man sorry to hear about your loss on your body. looks like you’re bringing it back together and the truck looks good from the angle that you took the picture with the pipe for the exhaust. good luck and hopefully you get it fixed
