Default 1/18 D90 painted....now with VIDEOs... Scroll down

Finally got some time to do my 1/18 D90 rc4wd...

Paint work

Side steps

Front wing plates (these are plastic)

Some rear flapping mud flaps (this is the plastic bumper that came with the truck)

Now drive train, I have filed down a reduction motor, and mount it to the gearbox by elongating the original mounting holes to fit this smaller motor.

Thanks, Bought them from a website that sells model boats.

http://www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk/...-shackles.html

Only place that I can find size that small. RC cars website are mostly 1/10 scale.

Thumbs up

Cool, great info. I looked through military stuff but never thought of boats. I'm getting me some of those.

It took me awhile to find it too, it was a lucky strike when I was searching using images in Google.

Now will have to make a snorkle and some decals like number plates etc.

Thanks,

I actually found it through a member in the forum, Sparks1337, this is based in the UK:

http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/212000/

It came un painted, I touch up with the red. It is slightly bigger for a 1/18 but for me it is fine..

Keep up the good work, great inspiration for me.
Now just trying to find a mod for the poor turning circle!!
