Default Official rally build off.

Okay. here are some rules. There are 3 classes

rally: modern day rally cars 1995-present car styles.
must look like a real car, no wheels wider than body, giant suspension, etc.

basically a scaler car.

if 1/18 scale or smaller it can be a road car because of the size but it can be offroad if you choose to.

must be 4wd unless 1/16 or smaller.

vintage rally: body must be 1985'ish or older.

if the 1:1 car body that you are using is 2wd then your car must be 2wd. EX: lancia stratus=2wd rc. audi quattro=4wd rc.

if 1/18 scale or smaller it can be a road car because of the size but it can be offroad if you choose to.

dakar:

must be dakar styled vehicles:

1995-present. pre runners, semi's, etc.

no tall roofs on pre runners, must be chopped if not already shorter.

if 1/18 scale or smaller it can be a road car because of the size but it can be offroad if you choose to.

vintage dakar:

1985'ish or older.

must be dakar styled vehicles:

pre runners, semi's, offroad cars, rough rider type buggys

no tall roofs on pre runners, must be chopped if not already shorter.

if 1/18 scale or smaller it can be a road car because of the size but it can be offroad if you choose to.

static: basically what is stated above but not rc

end date is at the end of april.
submit a link of your build on this thread.

please add me on facebook for questions and to remind about this BO

ok, well it sounds like my subaru might be out, its planned to be scale: ie, realistic to what would/could be built in reality, but will have big long travel suspension and wider tires. So pretty much a cross between a baja truck and pikes peak rally car. Am i going to be allowed to play vwm?

if its realistic to how it is in reality, then yes, i mean like no running giant suspension and truggy tires that are just as tall as the body if you catch my drift

Build end date should be longer,at least one full month.

I will be in as soon as my parts from japan come in.

Jeremy.

I was kind of thinking the same thing for the time length, some might need to order parts and stuff and it could take a good chuink out of their build time.

is there any particular reason for finishing so soon? I was thinking like may as most build offs are around the 3 month mark.. I for one am not sure i could finish in that time. Be close but not sure.
