And as I promised, I present to you...

And from there we went to....

And we stopped here today...

I'll add a bit more green in a couple of areas and then red and clear this coming weekend. Also managed to get all bumpers, mounts, and roll cage painted as well. Mock up pics soon lol

It definitely worked if ya ask me....gotta throw a tad more green and then a lot of clear on it and run with it lol I just couldn't see spending hundreds of dollars in painting it so I went with the original idea I had...back before it was even on paper lol Ill throw up a poser pic in the next couple days

I like it! I had (may still have) a old nylint metal bodied explorer I always wanted to paint up like the JP vehicles, it even has a huge sunroof if I remember correctly but it kinda got put away and forgotten in moves.

Now we get to the part where it all comes together (paint wise anyway)...finally

Next will be matching the headlight and taillight housings to match the grey and bolting up the light bar

Agreed the headlights and taillights add to it also. I had thought about trying that but wasnt sure how it would turn out, now I know it looks sweet lol. Seeing you have the exo tires/wheels have you tried them under this body before? I traded my rears for another set of front for the jeep project but they actually look pretty sweet under these bodies too...though the wider rears might fit the look a bit better.

@duellym-thank you, it retrospect I would've done it backwards and started with the red....having to lay that pattern out and work with it wasn't a great deal of fun but I made it work.

@350Taco- no honestly I never tried them...always had a vision in mind and although the paint changed, the overall look and accessories never did. The lights were off at first but I knew they needed to be done because the 1:1s are done that way. So I did one light and figured I might as well do the rest lol
