As for rust, it is not a technique, it's just drawn by hand, very slow and painstaking drawing ....
Here: airbrush, washing, and grouting, and brush, and sandpaper, generally all what effect it is possible to copy the atmospheric erosion and rust.
Regarding the rust itself, it is always different, it depends on the color and the metal, and by region, so that would make rust pravdopobnoy need to find the present car, for that would know how it would look.

it is amazing!! the only thing this truck needs is some different tires and rims.you have created one of the most scale rigs i have ever seen but those tires and rims are taking away from all your brilliant work...can you get products from rc4wd? if so they should have some tires that will help bring it all together..

Over the wheels of course I'll be working, as in most of the projects had left it at the end of the project ....

I tried to put on a Mickey Tomopson, but it too big, regular tire size 12X20 is about 115mm in the tenth scale

Kept going and tires Flat Iron, but it does not look very good

I also have tires Flash Point, but they are small, for the tenth scale, making them useless for Russia, we are not building small trucks,1:10 Only.
Now, if the Flash Point produced 1.9-115mm OD and 2.2-125mm OD , then it would not be replaced for all Soviet trucks! And if they still do tread a little deeper, it will be just divine tire!
The thing is that in the Soviet Union and Russia, there are three basic sizes All Terran and Military tires is :108 cm (GAZ, ZIL), 115cm (ZIL, GAZ, KAMAZ, MAZ) and 125cm (Ural, Kamaz, Kraz , Tatra and many others) and it just so happened that all of them could be shod in tires Flash Point, if they were the right size.
This is my dreams ...

I will try to use for Zil Axial 1.9 Maxxis Trepador Tires R35, not quite sure of the result, but there is no option, as appropriate tires nobody does ....

Here everything depends on what you need is not simply to increase the radius of the wheel, like a tractor, and the proportions of the tire itself, Flash Point, it is low profile tires, and rubber that mean, meant to be taller and wider than a percentage ...

ZIL 130 ...

Continuation of "Zil 130"

I intentionally made two different numbers on Zil, as he was in a horror movie))))
Numbers are taken from the actually existing machines Zil 130, Garbage truck and crinoline truck ...
