Some updated photos will be shown because the Gipsy finished many jobs. Thanks for looking and thanks for the thanks and welcomes.

Nice collection of comments about truck. I thank many for such.

Good news! I finished making tiny hinges! What a chore. The next task is figuring out the hood and door latches.

I need to shave down the hardware still.

And that's why I had to stop building it for 9 months.

And now I'm back!

I made a seat out of HDU.

Pappy Smiggin approves.

His approval face could easily be misinterpreted as confusion. "Where's my steering wheel?"

Haha

I'm really excited to be working on this again. It's good to come back to a build with a clear head and work through the problems that caused me to stick it in a box.

Today I cut out some tiny letters.

Oh no! Where did they go?

I'm trying to plan ahead for final assembly so I drilled out the body and put little studs on the badge. Should make painting easier.

I carved in some panel lines and make the base for the indicators. That involved cutting out the shape, building a new piece and making it fit into the hole. All that for something that's hardly visible.

As always great work, I like the bolt on badge that's a great idea and im sure the extra effort will pay off during final paint and assemble.
