Looks fantastic! One of these days I'm going to build a vacuum former...

BTW, you can get a really good silver from the Krylon Premium Chrome spray paint that comes in the skinny can. Not quite super mirror-like chrome, more of a nickel or anodized aluminum. Did the wheels of my Blackfoot with it, really pleased with the result. They came out looking almost exactly like the old Sees aluminum wheels.

3 Plus more hours of sanding on the grill alone.. Can't hardly even tell..lol. Thinking its looking a lil more refined.
I did get some paint on the Front emblems too though.
Body work day....Oh boy....

2beers got the laser 3d scanning eye! With the cnc sanding hand lol

Trini, I think I know where you are going with the headlights diameter question are you thinking of these 20mm lenses from DX website? Once ground down to the right diameter they might be pretty nice in there.

Did you end up ginding yours for your Sandman project? I think we just need to find the best way to grind them and we'll be golden!

I have the grill sanded, fine tuned and a coat of primer on...Baking..yeah.
Sanded body... and filler has been applied in problem areas...Yeah..
Thinking she needs to get here legs under her.
Tires should be here in a few days.
I'm going to try and do the aluminum frame rails first with parts robed off the SawBack. I have my pattern already made.. Now comes the mess..lol.

Tried it freehand and got the expected epic fail....lol! Have since gotten the mini press for the rotary tool but haven't gotten around to it yet...lol!

As i want to get this right the first time...If their is such a thing..lol.
I thought i better do some mock up first so i don't ruin my only piece of aluminum.
Think I just fell in love my Truck.... I'm Loving the hint of attitude the slot mags bring.
