Default Beginner Crawlers

Hello all just looking for some helpful advice.

I'm looking to get started with crawlers however I'm having a difficult time figuring out which one is suited for beginners. I found this page http://rcjudge.com/best-rc-rock-crawler/ however i dont know which one is suited for beginners or what.

Would you guys get one of those or any recommendations?

Also would you guys get a 1.9 or 2.2 tires? Any helpful hints would help. Thank you all!

That is what I started with. "1/10 Maxstone Exceed" the green one. The bug body set up does not hold up well though.
Very great rigs for the money and to get you going.
Cool scale rigs can be made from them later also.

I feel you can't go wrong with it.
you'll want at least the 1/10 scale if running 1.9 to 2.2 tires.
They preform well, But a tire change makes them even better.

Luck on your journey.
Walking the fine line between Realistic scale and RC functionality..

Hi 2Beers thanks for the help!

I'll probably go with that. I know this won't be my first crawler so I don't mind it eventually broken. And thanks ill go with the 1/10. Any tires you recommend?
