Wheels are being printed

While I wait for them to be completed and smoothed out with acetone vapor, building is going on; I created a front bumper kit using some 2mm thick brass plate, M3 threaded rod and 4mm brass tubing

Brazed

And installed; perspective makes it look huge, but it's just as wide as the Bronco body.
Anyway once I will have everything in place, I will consider shortening it by a couple millimeters each side.

Glued the tires to the rims and slapped them under the body to get a general feel of the final look...they are the perfect size!

Then I proceeded to mount the rear leafs to the axle, fabricated some micro shackles and some axle mounts from aluminium sheet

Overall stance by now...will sit lower once all the accessories and electronics are in place

Looks good. I really like the one off wheels the size is perfect. It will be interesting to see how your leaf springs work. I find to get enough ( ok what I think is enough) travel I need a long leaf span, seems yours are similar. I may end up going back to 4 link, not sure. Anyway the wheels bumperand leaves turned out great.

Thank you!

I'm still thinking about the front suspension setup, I can go with leaves as well, or maybe with radius arms and panhard bar.
Steering setup will be a challenge too...

Radius arms and panhard does sound like a challenge but it also sounds like a good and proven solution. Give that I think it's definitely time to rethink my rig, thanks for the nudge.
