Default Scratch built Aluminium Series III Land Rover - My work here is DONE!!

Well as you may be aware I was not too happy with the centre thingy that mysteriously got stood on so I had another crack at it....

Much better

And onto the big news..... It's finished!! yep, only took 17 years from the first sketches, less the 8 or 9 years it sat up the loft or on a shelf but I can finally call it done!!! Obviously I will be doing some better pose shots and a video or two but for now, a few shots I just took outside my house........Enjoy and thanks for all the support and kind comments over the past few years

And with the real one!!

That is great news! looks killer too! i'm anxious to see some new pics and vids.

i'm hoping to finish up my long term Toyota project in the next couple weeks. it'll be weird actually driving it and not working on it but i have some more projects that i know will end up being long term so i need ot get it out of the way.

congrats and enjoy!

Thanks bud, can't agree more, I will be weird driving not building!!! But sooo looking forward to it.

Like you I will be doing some "easy" back log clearing.... FPV fitted properly in the Lightweight, big rig to respray, my reward build, planes to fit out, a 1:1 project to finish etc etc and then.... The next crazy build!

Congrats on finally completing this amazing build. I've been following since before I even joined the forum, hard to believe how long it's been in progress. I always love seeing these kinds of long-term builds getting finished.

Although looking at the 1:1, I think it needs one more thing: white lettering on the tires.
