Default clod axles to Dualhunter gearbox?

Noob question:
I was wondering if Clod axels are compatible with a Dualhunter gearbox. Please give details or whats the best way to achieve this disaster.
Thanks.

Goals-lower gear ratio for higher speeds.
Items-complete Clod gearbox and axles, complete Dualhunter gearbox-NO axles

Not possible - Clodbuster uses a motor/gearbox/solid axle setup, and the dual hunter is essentially the same but with independent suspension no actual gearbox or axle
Clodbuster

Dual hunter

what are you trying to make? a faster dual hunter or a faster clodbuster? best bet is to go for faster motors, however if you want speed i would recommend hpi or traxxas, tamiya plastic (particularly clods) is not very forgiving

faster Clod. Dual hunter would be the donor parts. Both of these chassises were pitched.
Clod's axle spline looks way larger too.

From what i've seen most guys just go to 2 brushless motors, check out rcmt.net thats where most of the racing clods are

I've heard about going brushless. I trying to keep this a budget build. I think I'm gonna get some new doggones and jerry-rig the Dualhunter gearbox.
I have plenty of stainless material to use.

rcmt.net hasn't fully activated it. That's where I'm having problems with my account.

You can also get adjustable motor mounts for the clodbuster, so you can use a bigger pinion and get a bit of speed that way

I think I see what you want to do, and no. The Clod axles are 6mm, and the WD-01 diff side gears are 5mm splined.

You can get adjustable Clod motor plates that will let you gear for more speed.

im just gonna rig the Dualhunter gearbox. got stainless steel to configure the chassis and new doggones.
Thanks for all the insight. Build is going rough. I was thing of using the Clod 4's suspension rod but there was a bit of binding b/c of the WD-01's longer gearbox. I'm just gonna rigid mount it on the Clod4's chassis.

Default 50mm wider than stock Clod

Started on the chassis today. hammer and dolley made the (stainless) center plate a tighter fit.
All handmade with angle grinder, sand paper, dremel, and a hammer.

cut the original bottom plate in half to attach the stainless lower part but more holes to drill.

You can see how more wider it is than stock.

I gave up on this build because I got another Tamiya chassis.
