Hi all! Thank you for the contest and participation. Very pleased to participate. Winning really on the brink. Just one vote that separated first and second place. Incredible.

I know right! lol FYI, I had to look close a few times and still couldn't decide if yours was a real truck or not. I had to go and find the build thread to satisfy my curiosity... lol The details on your truck and the way the pictures are taken are so very convincing. I honestly think it's some of the most realistic pictures I've ever seen of a R/C truck. Well done!

I agree I swore I was looking at a real truck and I also had to look at the build thread to be sure. I can appreciate the winners entry but I don't see any real difference from it and the other 10 plus land rovers that were entered. I'm in no way knocking it it's a great job what I'm saying is what exactly was different about the one that won and all the other land rovers entered? What made everyone pick this one over the others? Don't take this as a knock against the winner just more of a question because most of the others looked equally good. I picked the f450 because it's not been done like that before that I've seen and part of me still thinks it might be real...

Maybe that's why you don't see the rear lights from the axial in Ford? )))
I agree, ford is great project, and have great foto, but many projects here really good.

My post may have come across wrong it was not meant as negative towards your build. It was more of a question of what made people choose your landrover over some of the others. The black one pictured just before your entry is a good example. It looks like the photo was taken in the same place as yours so maybe its another build you did. My point is other than the model, color, and number of doors it looks almost identical in quality as the winner. Im just curious why one got more votes than several other landrovers that look very similar in build style/quality.

My point is getting lost in translation. It wasn't important eitherway. Let's just leave it as congratulations for winning.
