And the test
Levers have alotta of resistance,i could always make longer ones.
Just apply steady pressure and it all moves just fine.

Ahaha..
Sweet, I'm jealous here.
Pretty cool in my book.

Air gun topic again.
I went ahead with the titan Benjamin.22
Very pleased with the set up
Already amazing grouping at 21 yrds.
Going to order trigger mod.
Went with a simons scope too.
I'll try and get more specifics this coming weekend.

With a .22 id go with a mil dot scope because of the flight trajectory.A mil dot in my opinion is the only way to go.

Welcome to the addiction.

Awhile back i posted up a truck i working on with a severly twisted frame,i finally got around to replacing the frame rails, crossmembers and countless suspension parts.
I finally got to install the body.
Still a long way to go.
We have 300 hours invested in this 2015 kw with 6800 miles that rolled over.
I left the cab, engine, trans in place, built custom stands to hold everything in place.changed out 1 frame rail at a time.
Paccor charges 38 hours per frame rail,a coworker and myself done both frame rails in 32 hours.
Its a first for me,hopefully the last.
Its a 480k truck when im done,we have around 300k invested.
1 mth ago i the truck went for its first test drive, once we knew she was good i installed the hydraulic system, blower, crane controls.
Its a massive project from start to finish.
Were currently making repairs to the damaged dump body.

Man that's some twist if I've ever seen it. Looks like it was a "fun" job.

Driver was dumping dry powder drilling mud,had vibrator on and it wouldnt fall out,so he kept clutching out to rock it......this tank alone is 30k lbs, ground gave way and flipped over.
A very fun job,i personally replaced over 400 frame bolts 5/8 dia x 2-3 in long.
8 crossmembers, rear leaf packs,hangers,shackles.....each crossmember has 26 bolts to lock it in place.
I had to carefully set the outside width of the double channel frame to exactly 34 1/4 in outside width, while maintaining level frame rails from the cab to the rear.
Total frame length of 32 ft.
A time consuming task.
Out of 300 logged hours,i put in 212 hours alone.
It was a "go work on the red beast in your spare time" build.

Crazy crazy..
Wowzaa
Fully appreciate the time your into it.
Ive changed a cross member and cab before..
So much work.
You've done it justice my friend.

Mind boggling.

We had something really big going down at our local port yesterday.
Ive never seen so many State and DOT officers at one place and at one time.
Of course I got the inspection too.. But had a fantastic officer and I keep all my i's dotted and t's crossed , so things went smoothly and I was soon on my way.
They were even opening up the trailers checking cargo.
Pretty amazed to see that many massed and working though.

Thanx
The original build ticket from gap vax was 684 hours to install the equipment onto the truck.
I had to remove it,repair the truck and reinstall the equipment.
While i was there i improved on the mounting points of the equipment using factory frame holes .

Dot quiet around here, dont hear much from them......but im not a truck driver either.

Ha, that's hilarious. My coworker wrote the controls and display system for that vehicle (or a very similar gapvax model). I had a small part in it as well. Small world.
