i like the driver and everything on the truck but two things...the mirrors will get knocked off just like in real life. notice how most offroad jeep have no mirrors...haha. the other thing that i am iffy about is the spot lights. they dont seem right...i dunno. beautiful truck though. one more thing...that thing has huge ground clearance!!! i wish mine had that much!

yea I'm trying to do something with the lights... and the mirrors are the kind that fold when bumped (in real life) plus they look cool on it... I'm finishing up the suspension right now new pics soon. and the first tire I'm making is curing now as well... we'll see how it comes out.

inspirational!

if you ever find tires, let me know. the so real ones look great and do decent in dirt and even on pavement (except tile) but they simply don't do it on rocks, because it's hard plastic.

so far i've rummaged all the hobby shops and come up with nothing that will fit

(i am having a tire crisis myself)

Simply awesome!

We all seem to be in the same tire problem. On my Cruiser I want to run the same boggers as yourself, so would have the same grip issues... I hope you find the answer and can share the information with the rest of us. Your making me want to work on my SSMT's... Like I don't have enough on my plate right now.

yep...I've been to every toy store and hobby shop I see and can't find anything suitable. the Aoshima tires are awsome... and they work great...but they are like 33's and my new rig needs the taller boggers because of the amount of lift it has. those are more like 38's... I am waiting on the test tire to cure. we'll see soon...

i have an idea...
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=70096
you would need to narrow em and might even have to secion em to get the outer diameter down but they are super soft and offer tons of grip. dunno if you want chevrons though.
