That looks heaps better with the wider bumper. Thank god your hoop isn't lime green! Looks the part indeed.
Cage fits in nice and snug and still keeps with the body lines.

Man that colour suits it so well. :chug:

I'm still going to make headlight hoops on the bumper but I need to get some more 1/8" dia aluminum rod first... here is the unfinished roof rack to show how it goes on...the roll bar and the front bumper are fiberglass and aluminum and the roof rack is the only thing brass...

glad you like it pro!

well I THOUGHT I needed more brass to finish the roof rack's floor but I found a killer piece of aluminum mesh to use for the floor...cut it, stuck it in and painted it just now...looks AWSOME! pics in a few...

You know they do make small scaled diamondplate right? Its not metal though, there's a guy who built a "Scorpion" tube framed crawler, with hydraulic steering by the name of JasoninAugusta, who is actually an editor for R/C Driver magazine, he used the stuff on that crawler. I'm not sure if he is on this board yet, but he's on RCCrawler alot. (I hope I can post that, if I can't mods I understand)

That is just crazy cool!!!! LOL The rack looks very nice. I can't get over how much you have changed the look of that ugly think. The more you do to it the more it looks like a Land Rover.I can't wait to see what next.
