I LOVE IT!!! Man cobra it looks AWESOME. Your builds are second to none.
Maybe you could give it a snakeskin or snake themed paint scheme and you could call it the sidewinder! (On second thought maybe I'll keep that one for myself)
I had a similar idea Mine consisted of a spare tlt axle and the front tranny of a bigwig I had laying in my RC junkyard I of course planned 4wd for mine and I really wanted a toyota body to top it off.

I also watched your vids of it and I love the way it drives, it moves very realistically.

I do have one question though. With the trailing arms how is the rear axle articulation? I assume it's ok because real desert truck use this design but it looks like it would be horrible.
How bout some artic shots ( I know it not a crawler but I still wanna see!)

turns out the two spare tires from the original nikko truck are much lighter than 2 hilift tires... so I'm leavin them on there so the tread is different... so what... they ARE spares lol... so now I have another full set of hilift tires to run on it when these wear out. I might make a set of deep offset HPI nascar wheels for them.

You could use another hornet with a tube frame and some lexan panels to hide the chassis, maybe a TLT axle out back.

I ordered my Nikko today.

kinda pointless to use a hornet chassis with a tlt axle... would be simpler to just make a whole tube chassis... I'm not sure what direction the next one will go just yet... should be interesting tho.

I'm also building a prerunner the chassis is almost done but the big problem is that I just can't get a complete body. So I was wondering what body did you used? I realy like the car keep on the great work!
